Spotify annual report

Lol! I just did my little Spotify year in review thing ( http://spotifywrapped.com ) and my most listened to artist this year was Hugh Jackman because even though I have mixed feelings about The Greatest Showman as a movie, the soundtrack is just one big ole' bop right after the other.

Of my top 5 most listened to songs, three of them are from musicals. I'VE BEEN IN A MUSICAL THEATER MOOD ALL YEAR, SPOTIFY, DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME.

I feel like last year's Wrapped was a bit more accurate because I had a tedious data entry job where I listened to music all day, so I logged a lot more hours and listened to a greater variety of things since I was more likely to just let my playlist do whatever it wanted.

Hey, does anyone remember from LJ how you could set it up so it would automatically fill in the "music" section with whatever was playing on your WinAmp at the time? Ahhh... I am an old. :)

Yes! I loved that feature with LJ, as well as how it could recognize last.fm. I wonder if anyone still uses that service, or if it still exists!

I feel like I've come across references to last.fm in the past few years, so there may be hope!

Lol I just did mine too and the most played song is an instrumental piece from Raiders Of The Lost Ark because I listen to it on a loop while I'm writing.

What good writing music! But for real, though, when it was running I kept wanting to be like, "Spotify! Wait! I can explain!"

Just did mine. My top artist this year was The Rolling Stones. I was on a huge classic rock kick this summer so. And yes! I remember that LJ feature. Super convenient. I even used Winamp too along with last.fm. (Still use last.fm actually.)

YESSSS, I remember that! I kinda miss it! It's extremely rare that I'm listening to music while browsing DW, but I still miss it!

Actually, now that I think about it, I think I recall sometimes starting up music just so I could have a song to add to my LJ posts. XD

OMG I did the same thing! And I definitely would cycle through to just the right song, if the situation demanded. I couldn't talk about my high school angst while listening to, I don't know, the Muppets or something.
